Mike Brown to leave TfL

Transport for London’s Commissioner Mike Brown is to leave the organisation to become chair of the delivery authority for the restoration and renewal of the Houses of Parliament.

Mr Brown became Commissioner in July 2015, having previously been Managing Director of London Underground. He first joined LU in 1989 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2003 before moving to Heathrow Airport.

Mr Brown will continue as Commissioner for the remainder of Sadiq Khan’s current term as Mayor, which ends in May 2020.
